Testimonials
Tierra did an amazing job and didn’t try to gouge the ink in “because I’m dark”. I barely described what I wanted and she nailed it. She is extremely patient and sweet. I’m loving my tattoo!

I am not from the El Paso area or even Texas for that matter. I had been wanting to have a sleeve constructed for some time and had not found anyone that I just “loved” their work. While working one night a friend of mine showed me a piece Tierra had recently completed and I fell in love with the attention to detail, shading, and design of the piece. I contacted Tierra and completed a sleeve for my right arm in three sessions. I cannot tell you how many compliments I have received on this piece. I will be returning to Tierra for future work as soon as possible.

FAQ
Some common questions we have answered.
Some tattoos require guests to have an in-person consultation in order book out the correct amount of time needed for your appointment. This includes our setup and breakdown time.
It also helps us to assess your skin type as well as any previous scars, placement of the tattoo and actual size of the piece we will be doing.
“It feels like being licked by hundreds of unicorns”
Tattooing involves repeatedly piercing your skin’s top layer with a sharp needle covered with pigment. So getting a tattoo is generally always painful, though people may experience different levels of pain.
The most painful places to get tattooed are those with the least fat, most nerve endings, and thinnest skin. An example is the tops of your feet are going to hurt more than your biceps. Thicc or thin, your body type usually does not make a difference.
We do have numbing ointment available for purchase. You do have to let us know in advance so you can either apply 1-2 hours before your appointment or have us available 1-2 hours before your appointment to apply the ointment.
This will help make your tatttoo experience more taps fingers in confused thought enjoyable?.
Drink Water – Being hydrated is always good, It improves skin quality meaning you will have a well applied tattoo with minimal issues and the tattoo will heal faster.
Keep your skin moisturized – Do not slather yourself in moisturizer right before your tattoo but it’s definitely a good idea to moisturize your skin leading up to the day before you go. Do not use any lotion or moisturizers on the day of your appointment. Your artist will likely be applying a tattoo stencil to your skin and moisturizers can interfere with how the stencil applies
Shave the area if possible – If you don’t we will. If the hair is thick, dense and long it will take us a long time to shave it off with the disposable ones we have to use.
Sleep well the night before – Don’t go out for a concert and drinks the night before! Being well rested will make you less twitchy and you’ll end up with cleaner (and straighter!) lines.
Eat Well – Make sure you eat a good hearty meal before your appointment. Your body is going to need the energy, especially when your instinct is going to be to tense up during the painful parts of the tattoo.
Wear the Right Clothing – Consider the area you plan to get tattooed and wear clothing that makes it easy for the artist to access. – For a tattoo on your back consider bringing a zip-up hoodie or button-up shirt so that it’s easy to cover-up your front torso if it makes you feel more comfortable. – Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty or splattered with ink. While artists are generally careful and try to protect client clothing during the tattoo process, getting ink or stencil on your clothing during a tattoo a possibility. Additionally, blood or plasma may seep onto your clothing following your appointment, so it’s best to wear something that is easy to wash.
Bring Snacks – If you start to feel dizzy or faint at any time during your tattoo appointment, tell your artist immediately and ask for a break. Eating snacks like nuts or candy or drinking Gatorade can help boost your blood sugar.
Minimum for piercings – $40
Minimum for tattoos – $80
We assess the skin and the tattoo wanted and we estimate how long the tattoo may take. When the pieces are larger and may take multiple sessions we don’t always like to give an estimated price because ideas change and that is when charging by the hour ends up being fair for both the tattoo artist and the customer.
Although we do take walk-ins, appointments are ideal. This will give the artist time to come up with an idea for the piece you are wanting. Each artist books their own appointments so you will need to contact them for availability.
This is all a matter of personal taste. You can get whatever you want, and whatever your artist is willing to do. You can choose a picture off the wall, or you can have them create a custom piece just for you. Your only limit is your own imagination.
As far as where you should get it, just keep in mind what you do for work and the type of social circles you are in. You might want to consider placing your tattoo where it can be easily covered up with normal clothing.
Getting a tattoo when your immune system isn’t at 100% isn’t a good idea. You’re going to need your strength and your white blood cells to heal your tattoo, something your body won’t be able to do if it’s already doing battle against virus and bacteria. Not to mention the fact that it’s very inconsiderate to bring your illness into the tattoo studio and risk passing the germs onto others, particularly your artist. If you have an appointment, call and reschedule for when you’re feeling well again.
